Can God really love a person who has failed as miserably as I have?

What if we can’t pay the mortgage?

When temptation, doubt, and fear persist, perseverance can seem futile. But that’s not what God wants. In fact, perseverance is one of the qualities God wants to grow in us:

We’ve begun a study guide to go with How Does God Use Suffering for Our Good?: Living with Hope While Making Sense of Life. Additionally, we’re working on a couple of book proposals. More news on those to come.

Personal News

Clay had a successful heart ablation on August 26. Praise God: His heartrate is now normal. Next, he’ll have the lower lobe of his right lung removed. That’s the only place the cancer is growing. Please pray for the surgery’s success and for the rest of the cancer to continue to be stable.
